How to Reinstall IE6 SP2 in XP

1. Insert the Windows XP CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Locate to C:\Windows\inf

(Note: If the folder is not visible, please follow the steps below:

a. Click Folder Options? under the Tools menu of My Computer.
b. Click View tab.
c. Select "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected
operating system files (Recommended)".
d. Click OK.)

3. Right click ie.inf and click Install.
4. When you are prompted to locate files, please click the Browse button,
find your CD-ROM drive, double-click the I386 folder in the CD drive, click
Open, and click OK.
5. Restart the computer.
