How to delete expired/archived certificate in Windows

 

After a certificate expired or replaced, it is still in the Certificates. In some cases, you may need to delete it. Here are the how to.

 

1. Run MMC and add Certificates

2.  Highlight the Certificates, for example Certificates (Local Computer).

3. Click on View and then Options.

4. Check Archive.

5. Now, navigate to Certificates (Local Computer)>Personal>Certificates.

6. in the right pane, select the certificate and delete it.
