How to Configure or Edit Remote Access Server in DirectAccess - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Open Remote Access Management Console.

2. Under Configuration>DirectAccess and VPN, highlight the DirectAccess server and click Edit of Remote Access Server.


3. In Remote Access Server Setup, you have three Network Topology options: Edge, Behind an edge device (with two network adapters) and Behind an edge device (with a single network adapter).

4. In Network Adapters, make sure all information is correct.

 

5. In Authentication, check Active Directory credentials (username/password). You also have options to select certificates and Enable Windows 7 client computers to connect via DirectAccess.

 

 

6. In VPN Configuration, decide if you want to use DHCP or a static address pool.

7. Click Finish and then apply to save the settings.
