How to configure a trust .rdp publisher on RDS - Step by step with screenshots 

 

When you access RemoteApp, you may get a warning that specifies that the remote program could harm your computer.. To avoid this warning, you must configure  a trust .rdp publisher.

 

1. Open Local Group Policy on the client.

2. Navigate to Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Remote Desktop Services>Remote Desktop Connection Client.

3. Double click on Specify SHA1 thumbprints of certificates representing trusted .rdp publisher.

4. Click Enable

5. Access the RemoteApp website and open the Certificate window.

6. Click Details.

7. click Thumbprint filed and copy the thumbprint numbers.

  

8. Past the thumbprint numbers to Specify SHA1 thumbprints of certificates representing trusted .rdp publisher

 

9. Close all opened applications and test the RemoteApp website. You should not receive the warning any more.
