How to Configure Route to Router VPN in LinkSys RV016 Router

 

1. Login the router using web utility, for example, http://192.168.10.1.

2. Click on VPN and select Gateway to Gateway.

3. Assign Tunnel No, Tunnel name, Interface and check Enable.

4. In Local Group Setup, select IP only for Local Security Gateway, type router public IP address for the gateway IP address, LAN IP address and subnet.

5. In the Remote Group Setup, select IP only as Remote Security Gateway, assign remote VPN router public IP for remote gateway, and remote LAN IP and subnet.

6. Assign the same settings of remote VPN in IPSec Setup. Make sure both sites are match.

 

 

7. After save the settings and if the other site has setup the correct settings, the VPN Summery should display as the following.

 

8. To check the connection status, click Details, To modify the settings, click Edit.
