ProSafe Troubleshooting - What do the icons mean?

  • 1. The Windows operating system did not start the SafeNet IKE Service properly. To start this service, go to Computer Management or restart your computer.

    Your security policy is deactivated—that is, disabled. Right-click on the icon, select Activate Security Policy.

    If this icon continues to display, you may need to reinstall the client.




    2. Your computer is ready to establish connections or transmit data.
     

    3. Your computer has established no secure connections and is transmitting unsecured data.

    4. Your computer has established at least one secure connection, but is transmitting no data.
    5. Your computer has established at least one secure connection and is transmitting only unsecured data.

    6. Your computer has established at least one secure connection and is transmitting only secured data.

    7. Your computer has established at least one secure connection and is transmitting secured and unsecured data.
