How to export ISA configuration

You can save all or parts of an ISA Server computer's configuration to an .xml file. Then duplicate all or part of a configuration from one ISA Server computer to another, or save a configuration for the future use.

To export the configuration, perform the following steps:

  1. Open Microsoft ISA Server Management
  2. Right-click on ServerName.
  3. Select Export .
  4. In Export Configuration, in Save in, select the location where you want to save the export file. In File name, type the file name of the .xml file to which you want to export the configuration, such as MyDefaultConfig.xml, and click Export.
  5. When the export operation has completed, click OK to close the status dialog box.
