How to Setup the Simultaneous Connections on Windows VPN

By default, the number of VPN connections is limited 128 connections. To modify the number of simultaneous connections, follow these steps:

1. Start RRAS from Administrative Tools.

2. Double-click the server object, right-click Ports, and then click Properties.

3. In the Ports Properties dialog box, click WAN Miniport (PPTP), and then select Configure.

4. In the Maximum ports box, type the number of VPN connections that you want to permit.

5. Click OK, click OK again, and then close Routing and Remote Access.

Note:  The number of dial-up modem connections is dependent on the number of modems that are installed on the server. If you have three modems installed on the server, you can’t have more than 3 modem connections at a time.
