In some cases, you may not be in the office and want to start Virtual Machine in a VPC automatically so that you don’t need to start it manually. To do this, create a shortcut of the VPCname.vmc and copy it to the startup. Note: since VPCname.vmc in located in the startup, this requires that you login for Virtual PC to start. If you need virtual machines to start automatically without logging in, you should use Virtual Server.
