How to disable ICS

To disable Internet Connection Sharing in Windows 2000, right-click on the Local Area Connection and select Sharing. Uncheck Enable Internet Connection Sharing for this connection.

To disable Internet Connection Sharing in Windows XP, right-click on the Local Area Connection and select Advanced. Uncheck Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet Connection.
