How to move paging file

 

To move the paging file from C drive to drive D, Please follow the steps below:

1. Click Start, type sysdm.cpl in the Start Search box and press Enter.
2. Switch to the Advanced tab and click Settings under Performance.
3. Switch to the Advanced tab and click Change under "Virtual memory".
4. Uncheck "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives".
5. Highlight drive C, select "No paging file" and click Set.
6. Highlight drive D, select "Custom size".
7. Type 1024 for both "Initial size (MB)" and "Maximum size (MB)" and click
Set.
8. Click OK and restart the computer.
