How to renew Certificate on IIS 6

To create the request for the renew, please follow these steps:
1.	Open the IIS from Administrative Tools.
2. Right-click on the Web site you want to install the certificate on.
3. Select "Properties".
4. Click the "Directory Security" tab.
5. Under the "Secure Communications" section, click "Server Certificate".
6. This will start the "Web Site Certificate Wizard". Click "Next".
7. Select “Renew the current certificate”.
8. Then next screen displays “Prepare the request now, but send it later”.
9. Save the certificate as txt file.
10. Send the certificate text file to your Internet trust provider.

After receiving the digital certificate from your Internet trust provider,  install the Certificate by following these steps:

1. Open the IIS from  Administrative Tools
2. Right-click on the Web site you want to install the certificate on.
3. Select "Properties".
4. Click the "Directory Security" tab.
5. Under the "Secure Communications" section, click "Server Certificate".
6. This will start the "Web Site Certificate Wizard". Click "Next".
7. Choose the "Process the pending request and install the certificate" option and click "Next".
8. Enter the path to and file name of the Certificate file OR click on 'Browse' to browse to the Certificate's location. Click on 'Next'
9. Assign the SSL port (443 is the default SSL port) for the web site and click on 'Next'.
10. The next page will display the summary of the Certificate you want to install. Click on 'Next'.
11. Click on 'Finish' to complete the "Web Server Certificate wizard".
