add a Windows Server 2003 to a Windows 2000 domain Before adding a Windows Server 2003 to a Windows Server 2000 domain, make sure you have correct DNS setup. You have to run the Windows Server 2003 Adprep.exe utility is used to prepare a Microsoft Windows 2000 forest or a Windows 2000 domain for the installation of Windows Server 2003 domain controllers. To do that you need to run adprep /forestprep on the Windows 2000 DC. Then installed the new 2003 fileserver,
