Case Study – Remote configuration on BEFSX41 doesn’t work

Situation: The client had enabled Remote Administration on Linksys FEBSX41 router. He tried to manage the router remotely. But the change he made didn’t take.

Resolution: He also need to enable Remote Update. To do this, run Web Utility. Select Administration tab. Under Management, check Enable Remote Update.
