Case Study – Linksys router doesn’t function

Situation: The client setup a router to router VPN using Linksys BEFSX41 routers. After a power outage, they lost the connection to one of the routers. They could not access the router any more.

Troubleshooting: After reset factory settings, we could access the router, but it didn’t take any configuration. We could not upgrade the firmware.

Resolution: Use Linksys BEFSX41-TFTP.exe to upgrade the firmware.
