1. How to create a new user in SharePoint Site

 

To add a new user to SharePoint Site, please follow these steps:

1) Click Site Actions, and select Site Settigns.

 

 

2) In the Users and Permissions, select People and groups.

 

 

3) Click New and then Add Users.

 

 

4) In the add users page, add the user and then assign permissions accordingly.

 

 

2. How to edit permissions in SharePoint Folder

 

1) After select a a folder, for example Shared Documents, click on Settigns.

 

 

2) In the Permissions and Management, click on Permissions for this document library.

 

 

3) In the Actions, you have 3 options, Remove User Permissions, Edit User Permissions and Inherit Permissions.

 

 

3. How to assign permissions in sub-folder in SharePoint

 

To assign permissions in a sub-folder, for example a folder under Shared Documents, click on the sub-folder first. Then click on it in the right narrow down point, and then select Edit Properties.
