How to configure Outgoing Email in SharePoint
1. Open Operations from SharePoint Center Administration. 2. Click on Outgoing e-mail settings in Topology and Services
3. In the Outgoing E-Mail Settings, enter the Outgoing SMTP server and email information. Note: Outgoing SMTP server could be Exchange server or any SMTP server.
