How to reset Media Set in Symantec Backup Exec

In our example, we will reset Media set from Retired Media to 3 day Media.

1. Run Backup Exec 2010.

2. Click on Media tab.

3. Click on All Media.

4. Right click on the media you want to reset and select Associate with Media set.

5. In the Associate Media with Media Set, click narrow down key and select the media set you want to reset. The click Yes to save the settings.
