How to install HP System Insight Manager - Step by step with screenshots - Part 1

1. Run HP SIM setup.exe from the DVD or download.

2.  In the Database Configuration, check Install and Use SQL Express. Make sure the port is 1433.

3. In the Select Installation Type,  keep Typical checked and default settings..

4. In the First Time Wizard, click Next to begin the configuration process.  

5. in the Managed Environment, select Windows.

6. In the Discovery, setup schedule to run automatic discovery.
