How to disable client printer redirection in group policy  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

You can configure a local group policy or domain group policy to manage Printer Redirection. In this example, we will configure Local Group Policy to disable default client printer redirection in a Remote Desktop Services.

 

1.  Open the local group policy by typing edit group policy in the Start.

2. Navigate to Local Group Policy>Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Remote Desktop Services>Remote Desktop Session Host.

3. In the right panel, double click on Do not allow client printer redirection. Then check Enable.
