Can we rename the SBS 2003 domain

Q: We installed Windows SBS 2003 domain as a single DNS. Then we found some issues (more details can be found here, Single-label DNS names issue). Can we change the SBS domain name?

A: Based on Microsoft, domain rename is not supported in SBS 2003. Quoted “After you install Windows Small Business Server 2003, you cannot change the full DNS name for the internal domain, the NetBIOS domain name, or the computer name. These settings are used to configure Windows Small Business Server tools and applications. To change these names, you must reinstall Windows Small Business Server 2003.”
