How to register NPS in Active Directory

 

 

1. Run Server Manager and navigating to Server Manager>network Policy and Access Services>NPS (Local)

 

2. Right click on NPS (Local) and select Register server in Active Directory.

3. When it prompts "To enable NPS to authenticate users in the Active Directory, the computer running NPS must be able authorized to read users' dial-in properties from the domain....", click OK to continue.

 

 

4. Click OK when "This computer is now authorized to read users' dial-in properties from the domain..." popup.

 

 

5. Now, the NPS has been registered in the Active Directory.
