How to Setup Directory Service Integration on Pano Manager

To login Pano device in a domain environment, you need to setup the Pano Manager to read your directory service. Only after the Pano Manager connects to the directory service, you have the ability to specify a specific server and let DNS determine the domain controller.

To setup Pano Manager to integrate with Microsoft Directory Service, follow these steps:

1. Launch the Pano Management Console by typing the Pano Manager IP address in an Internet browser., for example https://10.0.5.120/admin/jsp.

2. Login using web admin ID. By the default the login ID is admin and password is zerotouch.

3. Click Setup.

4.  In the Directory Configuration area,  enter ldap://dirserver1.yourdomain.com as URL. Type your administrator account and password.

5. Click Configure. If the Pano Manager reads Directory Service, it shows connected on the top. Otherwise, you will see an error. Click on the error to see more details.

6. In the Virtualization Configuration, enter https://VMware VirtualCenter server name/sdk. Type your username and password.

7. Click Configure. If the Pano Manager can access the VMware VirtualCenter server, it shows connected on the top. Otherwise, you will see an error. Click on the error to see more details.
