How to load custom RAID drive when installing XP on VMware To load a custom RAID
driver for the virtual HD Controller card, please follow these steps.
1. Upload the
driver to the VMware server.
2. If the computer doesn't come with a floppy disk, you may want to configure the guest VM to access the floppy image. To do that, click on Edit Virtual Machine Settings. Select Floppy Drive 1. Check Use existing floppy image in datastore and browse the image.
3. When booting from the XP CD, press F6. In the Windows setup, press S to add SCSI adapter.
4. If you have floppy drive mapping, you should see the next screen. Press Enter to select it.
5. After selecting the driver, press Enter to continue.
