How to add a network adapter in VMware Guest OS

 

To add a network adapter to the virtual machine
  1. Open vSphere Client.
  2. Right-click the virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
  3. Highlight the network adapter in the  hardware, click on Add.

 

4. Select Ethernet Adapter and click Next.

 

5. From the dropdown of Adapter type, select the network adapter. Select Connect at power on and click Next.

 

 

6. Review the summary and click Finish to add the virtual network adapter to the virtual machine.
