How to Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on
Vista
To
enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on
Vista,
please follow these steps:
- Click Start.
- Select Network.
- Click on the
Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Manage
Network Connections.
- Right click on
the Connection and select Properties.
- Highlight
Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
- Click the
Advanced button in the General tab.
- Click the WINS
tab.
- Click the
Enable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP button.
- Click Ok to
close.
