How to disable the "Remote Desktop cannot verify the identity of the computer you want to connect to…” messages

Situation: When connecting to a remote computer using RDC v6, you may receive "Remote Desktop cannot verify the identity of the computer you want to connect to…”

 

resolution: To disable the warning message, Before connecting, please follow these steps:

  1. Open RDC.
  2. Click on “Options”
  3. Click on the “Advanced Tab”
  4. In “Authentication Options”, select “Always connect, even if authentication fails, as seen below:
