How to Rebuild the VPN Miniports

1. Click Start, type: CMD in the Start Search bar and then right click on
the Command Prompt in the Search list -> select Run as Administrator.
2. In the open command prompt, please run the following commands one by one
in and then press Enter..

Netcfg -u MS_PPTP
Netcfg -u MS_L2TP

Netcfg -l %windir%\inf\netrast.inf -c p -i MS_PPTP
Netcfg -l %windir%\inf\netrast.inf -c p -i MS_L2TP

3. Above commands are used to reinstall the PPTP and L2TP WAN Miniport.
After these steps, please also run the following commands to verify if they
have been reinstalled successfully:

Netcfg -B MS_PPTP
Netcfg -B MS_L2TP

NOTE: We can get a message "Binding paths starting with MS_PPTP"
