How to manage a user in Windows Server 2012 Essentials  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Login Windows Server 2012 Essentials and click dashboard.

2. Click USERS.

3. Highlight the user you want to manage, you will have these options: View the account properties, Deactivate the user account, Remove the user account, and Change the user account password.


  

4. if you click View the account properties, you can change the user's name, the Level of access, change the user account password, activate or deactivate the account,

setup if the account can view or not the network health alerts.

 

5. If you click Shared folders, you can manage how the user accesses the shared folders.

  

 

6. To setup Anywhere permissions, click Anywhere Access tab. You can assign permissions to use VPN, Remote Web Access and what the account can access.

 

7. To select the computers that the user account can access remotely, click Computer access tab.
