How to enable snipping tool in Windows 2008 and 2012  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

Snipping Tool captures a screen shot of anything on your desktop, like a picture or a section of webpage. To install it on Windows 2008, run Add Features Wizard and check Desktop Experience.


  

To install snipping tool on Windows 2012, run Add Roles and Features Wizard. Install Desktop Experience under User Interface and Infrastructure.

  

If you have a problem to install Snipping Tool on Windows 2012, try this powershell command: Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName User-Interfaces-Infra
