How to configure Virtual NIC in Windows 8 - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Open Hyper-V from Windows 8.

2. Highlight the host and select click Virtual Switch Manager.

 

3. In Virtual Switch Manager, highlight New virtual network switch and click External.

4. Click Create Virtual Switch.


  

5. Enter Name, and select External network which is the NIC in the host.

  

 

6. After clicking OK, the new Network Adapter shows up on the left pane.
