How to boot to Desktop in windows 8  - Step by step with screenshots

By default, Windows 8 boots straight to the Start screen. To boot to the Desktop, we create a schedule task by following these stpes:

.
1. Run Schedule Task in Settings.

2. Click on Task Scheduler Library to the left, and select Create Task.

3. Name your task something like "Boot Desktop". Click on Triggers tab,

4.  Click New.

5. In the New Action,  select starting the task "At log on" from the drop-down box.

6. Click the Actions tab, choose New, and enter "explorer" for the Program/Script value.

7. Press OK, save the task, and restart to test it out!
