How to search by date in windows 7   - Step by step with screenshots 

In this example, we use Windows 7 search to find filed modified in 2002.

1. Click the folder you want to search.
2. On the top right, click on Search box and then select Date modified.

3. Type the year, for example 2002. You can have all files modified in 2002.
