How to create VDI Template on a VM running Windows 8

To create a VDI template, you need to run SysPrep by following these steps

1. Run sysprep.exe from c:\windows\system32\sysprep on the VM.

2. Check Generalize.

3. Make sure Shutdown is checked in Shutdown Options.

4. After clicking OK, sysprep starts running.

5. After running sysprep, it will shutdown the VM and you can create VDI using the template.
