How to disable/enable UAC in Vista

As this post mentioned, Some program don’t run on Vista. The resolution is disable the UAC.

To disable UAC, please follow these steps:

 

1. Start>Run
2. Type "msconfig" ENTER
3. Click Tools tab scroll down to "Disable UAC"
4. Highlight it
5. Click Launch button follower by OK.

To enable it, highlight "Enable UAC" and click Launch button.

Note: Turning off UAC reduces the security of your computer and may expose you to increased risk from malicious software. We do not recommend leaving UAC disabled.
