How to configure iSCSI target on a QNAP NAS

With iSCSI, we can use a NAS storage as a local disk. This video shows how to create iSCSI Target on QNAP NAS.

1.Creating an iSCSI Target * Go to Storage & Snapshot > iSCSI Storage.

* Click on Storage & Snapshots.

* Click on OK in Do you want Quick Configuration Wizard?

* Click Next.

* Type the iSCSI Target name and then Next

* Enter CHAP info if you plan to use it.

* Click Apply in Summary.

2. Create LUN

* Select storage space and location.

* Configure LUN name and capacity.

* Click Finish in the Summary.

Now, you should have the iSCSI Target listed.
