Share the Internet connection by hotspot on Android phone

With Google Android phone, you can use your phone’s mobile data to connect another phone, tablet, or computer to the internet. This article descripts how to share the Internet connection by hotspot based on Pixel phone,


1. Tap Settings icon to open the phone’s Settings app.

2. Tap Network & Internet. Make sure Data Saver is off.

3. Tap Hotspot & tethering and then Wi-Fi hotspot.

4. Turn on Wi-Fi hotspot.


5. To see or change a hotspot setting, like the name or password, tap it.

6. On another device, search for the hotspot name and you may be required to enter the password.
