How to create an account to access Cisco support portal

Q: I am the only person can access our Cisco product support in the company. My boss would like to add more IT personals to access Cisco product support. However, I can’t figure out how to add them.

A: You must have a Cisco ID and then link to the contract. Here are the steps.

For profiles to have full access, they most have an Active CCOID with a complete profile, meaning: a valid physical address, a phone number and email address saved in your Cisco Account. And Organization/Company name.
They must also be associated to an Active Service Contract to be entitled for support
The users can create a new profile at: https://id.cisco.com/signin/register

For more information how to create a CCO user ID go to:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/buy/customer-support-information/account-profile-login-information/account-registration.html

Or try this steps:

Creating a CCOID

  1. Go to Cisco.com
  2. Click the “Account” link on the upper right side of the corner of the screen 3. Click on the “Register Now” button and complete the required business information.
  3. Create a login name and password
  4. Select two secret questions and provide answers 6. Under “Fine Print”, Select “yes” for Cisco Privacy Statement.
  5. Select Yes/No for communication preferences.
  6. Click “Submit”. You should then see, the “Thank you for registering” page noting you will receive an email to complete registration
  7. To complete registration, check your inbox for an email message from Cisco, and follow the link in the message to confirm your information.
Please be aware that, you must have: a valid physical address, a phone number, and an email address saved in your Cisco Account.
